Croke park has a goal to achieve net zero by 2050 and to reduce carbon emissions by 50% by 2030 as set out by the Climate Act 2021.
Driving this will be the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) which will set a clearly defined path to reduce emissions in line with Paris Agreement goals. This is a gold standard framework in which to align ourselves with.

Targets are considered ‘science-based’ if they are in line with what the latest climate science deems necessary to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement – limiting global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.
