Croke Park takes its relationship with our local community very seriously. We strive to develop & maintain strong community relations, lessen the impact of events on our nearest neighbours and give back to local residents through the development of local community gain initiatives here in the stadium.

Croke Park employs a full-time community liaison who work in the stadium on behalf of local residents.  The stadium also employs a community team consisting entirely of local residents, to assist their neighbours & watch over the community area on on stadium event days.

A native of Drumcondra, Julianne Savage has been employed as the full-time Community & Public Affairs Officer for Croke Park Stadium since September 2013. Local residents can contact Julianne on any stadium related matter.

Community Team

Since February 2014, the Croke Park Community Team works on stadium event days to assist our neighbours and other local residents throughout the Croke Park Community area.

Key responsibilities include monitoring event day access for the community as well as monitoring and reporting littering, anti-social behaviour and illegal parking in the stadium’s community area.

Community Fund

Croke Park is a proud supporter of our local community and at the heart of this support is the Croke Park Community Fund. Established in 2009, it’s an annual fund of €100,000 which is used to support local projects in the immediate area around the stadium.

The fund has now allocated over €850,000 in support to local projects; funding 58 local community groups & projects in 2017.

Ticket Scheme

Residents who have registered with the stadium for the ticket scheme are entered into draws to avail of occasional ticket offers for major concerts and matches here in the stadium.

Croke Park Celebrates Special Community Milestone

 

Community Newsletters

“Stadium News” is Croke Park’s community newsletter which is distributed throughout the year to over 27,000 households within the stadium 1.5km community radius.  It’s a helpful way to keep up to date with all that is happening in the Stadium.

Croke Park Community Forums take place during the year and it’s an opportunity for local residents to drop into the stadium and meet with senior management from the stadium and our event day stakeholders to discuss any stadium related matter. All local residents are welcome to attend.
