TRAFFIC & PARKING RESTRICTIONS

Residents and motorists are advised that the Gardaí will implement a number of traffic management measures on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Friday - Clonliffe Road is not expected to be affected before 5.30pm and will only close temporarily if large crowds are entering the stadium. Road closures on Clonliffe Road will be implemented as patrons leave the venue after the match. Jones Road and Russell Street are expected to close both before and after the match. The match is scheduled to finish at approximately 9.10pm, subject to there being no extra time.

Saturday - No road closures are anticipated with the exception being Jones Road and Russell Street which may close both before and after the match.

Sunday -  Clonliffe Road will not be affected before 11.30am and will only close temporarily to facilitate crowd ingress to the stadium. Road closures will also be implemented after the match as patrons leave the venue, with the match expected to conclude at approximately 2.50pm. Jones Road and Russell Street are expected to close both before and after the match.

To assist with crowd management and emergency access, parking restrictions will be in operation on:

  • Jones Road
  • Nally Square
  • Russell Street
  • Saint Joseph’s Avenue
  • Saint James’ Avenue
  • Saint Margaret’s Avenue
  • Sackville Avenue

In the interest of Health and Safety, the Gardaí may restrict vehicular entry/egress at times of high pedestrian traffic. At such times production of the resident vehicle pass does not automatically entitle its bearer entry/egress to/from the Garda cordon. Motorists are requested to comply with all temporary traffic management arrangements and Garda instructions.
