Croke Park Stadium in Dublin has been at the heart of Irish sporting life for over 100 years. It is the headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), Ireland’s largest sporting organisation. A visit to Croke Park and the GAA Museum is a great way for your students to learn about Ireland’s unique national games and the fastest field games in the world - hurling and Gaelic football – in a fun and enjoyable way
This modern stadium, steeped in history, ranks alongside Wembley Stadium (London), Camp Nou (Barcelona) and Santiago Bernabeu (Madrid) as one of the largest stadia in Europe. As well as being home to Gaelic games, Croke Park has also hosted Six Nations Rugby, soccer internationals and concerts by world famous artists.
