Important Information

From September 9th until mid-October 2026, essential maintenance work will be carried out to ensure the continued safety, reliability, and performance of the lift in the museum. It is not possible to access the first floor without taking the stairs during this time. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused by the temporary closure of the lift.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your tour is due to depart. We look forward to welcoming you to the GAA Museum!

Christmas Opening Hours

  • Wednesday 23rd December: Closes at 4pm
  • Thursday 24th- Sunday 27th December: Closed
  • Monday 28th & Tuesday 29th December: Open
  • Wednesday 30th- Friday 1st January: Closed
From Saturday 2nd January normal opening hours will resume.

After your tour, access to the GAA Museum is complimentary.  View the exhibitions and the collections that tell the story of Gaelic games from ancient times to present day.

Under eighteens must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the GAA Museum and on tours.
