This is the GAA Museum’s mascot - Cluasóg the Irish hare! Together with our lovely GAA Museum guides, he leads the special Junior Explorer Tours.
These family friendly tours bring the magic of the home of Gaelic games to life for younger visitors and offer a fun, interactive and educational morning out for all the family. Find Out More
On any visit to the GAA Museum (or before or after your tour), young visitors can pick up a Junior Explorer Passport at the entrance to the museum and follow a trail laid out by Cluasóg. Figure out the clues by visiting some of the museum’s most famous exhibits to reveal a secret sentence! The passport and secret sentence can then be shown to a staff member and children will receive a special Junior Explorer badge!
Cú Chulainn’s Den is our dedicated space for our youngest visitors. Our colourful Den is filled with exciting toys and activities including a costume corner, sensory toy table, lightboxes, block building area and colouring station. There’s also a relaxing spot to read some books and a village shop filled with goodies! The recently upgraded den has plenty for smaller children to explore and is the perfect place to complete your family trip to the museum. Please note: Cú Chulainn’s Den is only open following our Junior Explorer Tours and at certain times during the school holidays. It also opens after our special family events like Halloween and Easter tours. Children must be accompanied at all times.
Cluasóg’s Corner has lots of activities to keep your little one’s busy at home. From colouring to quizzes and puzzles, follow the fun! Discover Cluasóg's Corner
