Important Information

From September 9^th until mid-October 2026, essential maintenance work will be carried out to ensure the continued safety, reliability, and performance of the lift in the museum. It is not possible to access the first floor without taking the stairs during this time. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused by the temporary closure of the lift.

Please note that the pitch in the stadium has been removed and preparations are underway for it to be re-laid shortly.

Due to a children’s activity day taking place in Croke Park on Monday 19^th & Tuesday 20th October, the entry point to the museum for tours has changed to the following:

• Please use Davin car park, access from St Margarets Avenue, from the North Circular Road.
  • Please see area marked in yellow on map below.
• From the car park, signage will be in place to show patrons to the museum.
• You will need to walk around level 3 of the stadium, down to the museum and stewards/security will be visible in high vis jackets to direct you.
• Anyone with accessibility needs can be dropped to the A10 gate, accessed from St Joseph’s Avenue but please call the museum to arrange access prior to your visit. 018192324.
• Pedestrian access is also available through the A10 gate on St Joseph’s Avenue, off Clonliffe road.
