The GAA Library and Archive is the national repository for the GAA’s records, archives and publications. The GAA Library and Archive holds records and archives dating from the 1880s through to the present day. Its mission is to identify and preserve collections of archives, papers, manuscripts and publications that record the values, culture and history of the Association, Gaelic Games and individuals who have contributed to the Association.

This material is particularly useful to second and third level students, historians, journalists, genealogists and all those wishing to research the rich history of the GAA

These records, archives and publications are available to view in the GAA's dedicated and supervised Reading Room. Access to this material is strictly by appointment only and all visitors must comply with the attached Reading Room rules.

1916 Rising Commemoration

This archive, which will be launched in 2016, will contain digital copies of GAA photographs, match reports, posters, administrative documents and museum artefacts relevant to the period 1913-1923.
