The minute books contain the meeting minutes of the regular committee meetings, the half-annual General meetings. The books contain a record of all decisions taken by the Club committee and all motions considered by the Club. Of particular interest is the role Michael Collins played in the club; at the 1907 half-yearly General Meeting Collins was elected as one of the two auditors of the Club-later in 1907 (October) Collins was one of those appointed to sell tickets for an upcoming find-raising dance. The minutes for the 6th of March 1908 show that Collins was selected, at half-back, to play on the Geraldine Hurling Club against the Raparees. At the 3rd of July 1908 Committee meeting Collins was elected Hurling Vice-Captain. His re-election as vice-captain is recorded in 1909 when he was also elected a delegate to the London County Board. At the 1st of July 1909 General meeting Collins was elected Secretary of the Geraldine Athletic Club.
