Croke Park Shortlisted in Event Industry Awards 2017

The team at Croke Park Meetings & Events are thrilled to be shortlisted in all four categories entered in the Event Industry Awards this Summer.  

The four categories are:

Best In-House Event Team
Best Purpose Built Event Venue
Technology Award for HD WiFi & IPTV
Best Event Caterer 

Croke Park Meetings & Events beat off stiff competition in 2016 to bag a hat trick of top prizes at the Events Industry Awards and are back having worked even harder than last year!  

Best In-House Event Team
Winners of the Best InHouse Events Team in 2016, the team at Croke Park Meetings & Events has gone from strength to strength delivering extraordinary events and we’re back to make it two in a row!  The team is more than the sum of its parts and includes a wide ecosystem of players who are part of our success and the #TeamCrokePark story.  

Best Purpose Built Event Venue
The stadium is the third largest in Europe and can accommodate all types of events with a sophisticated digital, technology and operational infrastructure.  Acclaimed internationally as a best in class host venue, we strive to continually offer stadium visitors unrivalled facilities and extraordinary experiences.

Technology Award for HD WiFi & IPTV
Launched in September 2016 and powered by eir, our HD WiFi is a first for Ireland! The technology has been deployed across our meeting and event spaces and our public concourse areas. The investment includes a new IPTV and signage infrastructure which has been installed across the stadium’s network of almost 300 digital displays, big screens and projectors.

Best Event Caterer 
Croke Park nominate our catering partner, Aramark, as Best Event Caterer.  They deserve the accolade for the breath of their catering offer (hot dogs to Michelin style gastronomy) and the depth of their service team (up to 1,200 on capacity days).  Take Aramark's commitment to the customer, quality, on-going staff development and their dedication to uncompromising sustainability into account and they truly are the undisputed Best Event Caterer.
