PRE-CONCERT WORKS
Pre-concert works are scheduled to commence on July 2. Works are scheduled between 8am - 10pm* daily from July 2-7 and between 8am-4pm* on July 8 (concert day).
*Concert works timings are still provisional and will be agreed by Dublin City Council. The schedule is weather dependent and subject to change.

POST-CONCERT WORKS
Works following the concert on July 8 will finish at 1am*. Post-concert works commence on July 9 with the site to be clear on July 14. Works are scheduled between 8am -10pm* daily.

PA TEST AND CONCERT SOUND CHECK
An audio test of the PA system is scheduled to be conducted on July 6 or July 7. The exact timing for this test is still to be confirmed. The sound check for the concert is scheduled to take place on July 8. The exact timing for the sound check is still to be confirmed
FIREWORKS
Fireworks will be used during this concert between 8.30pm and 11pm on Saturday evening.
COMMUNITY TEAM
The Croke Park Community Team will be on duty on Saturday, 8 July to assist their neighbours & help monitor event day activity in the Croke Park community area.
COMMUNITY HOTLINE
Freephone 1800 303 593 is Croke Park’s 24-hour community hotline for local residents. It can be used at any time during the stage builds, concert and post-concert works to report any issue directly to the stadium. You can also use it to request assistance from the community team during the concert.

LOCAL RESIDENTS VEHICLE PASS
The 2017 local resident vehicle pass for households within the Garda cordon is available from the Garda Station on Fitzgibbon Street: telephone 01 666 8400. Please bring proof of identity & proof of residency with you to the station to collect your pass.
LOCAL RESIDENTS REQUIRING SPECIAL ASSISTANCE

PUBLIC TRANSPORT/PARKING PLANS
A full public transport & car parking information campaign targeting patrons for the concert is ongoing. Special Dublin Bus, LUAS, Irish Rail & Bus Eireann public transport initiatives to & from the concert have been organised & exclusive offers from car parks nearest the stadium are also available to concert patrons. Additional Gardaí & Dublin Street Park Services will be enforcing parking legislation throughout the community area & there will also be specific coach & bus parking areas on the Alfie Byrne Road in operation.
NOISE CONTROL
To ensure concert noise emissions are kept within Dublin City Council (DCC) guidelines, the following measures are in place for each concert:
- Sound levels will be agreed with DCC’s Environmental Health Officer
- The Production Manager & Sound Control Engineer for the concerts will be instructed to control sound emission levels to keep them within these agreed limits
- The testing of the concert sound systems & the artist’s sound check will be agreed with DCC’s Environmental Health Officer with due consideration for local residents
- In addition to the measures, sound levels will be checked during the event by sound meters & a suitably qualified noise consultant will be appointed to monitor noise levels & liaise between DCC & the Promoter.
OVERNIGHT QUEUEING/CAMPING
Overnight queuing or camping will not be tolerated. Stadium stewards will be on duty on streets close to the stadium from 7pm on July 7 to deter overnight queuing/camping in the community area.
PORTALOOS
DCC will locate rows of portaloos on streets in the immediate vicinity of the stadium: Clonliffe Road (Mater Dei), Clonliffe Car Park, Ballybough Road/Clonliffe Road junction; Russell Street/Fitzgibbon Street junction; Sackville Avenue/Croke Villas & Ballybough Road.
CONCERT CLEAN UP
Additional community litter teams will be active during the concert & will work to remove concert litter from gardens within the Garda cordon. Their assistance can also be requested via the community hotline.
USE OF GARDA HELICOPTER
The Garda Helicopter will be used on the evenings of July 8. It will only be used as required by the Gardaí & with minimum time spent in operation.
FLOODLIGHTS
Floodlights will remain on following the concert until patrons have cleared the stadium. After clearing the stadium, only lights necessary to provide safe working conditions will be in operation. All floodlights will be switched off at 1am.
GARDA CORDON EXTENDED AFTER CONCERT ENDS
At the end of the concert, the Garda cordon will be extended to facilitate the safe exit of concert patrons. No vehicles will be permitted to access the Garda cordon during this exit period to ensure the safety of pedestrians & vehicles alike. These closures will be implemented for the shortest time necessary. As a guideline, this extended cordon will be in place for approximately one hour after each concert ends at 11pm. Barriers will also be erected at the following locations closing the following streets:
• Lower Drumcondra Road / Whitworth Road
• Lower Drumcondra Road / Richmond Road/ Botanic Avenue
• Ballybough Road / Luke Kelly Bridge
• Ballybough Road / North Strand Road
• Summerhill / North Circular Road
The above restrictions will result in the closure of Lower Drumcondra Road from Whitworth Road to Botanic Avenue & the closure of Ballybough Road from Fairview to Summerhill.

LOCAL RESIDENT TICKET DRAWS
The local resident ticket draws for complimentary tickets for Coldplay & U2 concerts will take place on June 19 in Croke Park. Both draws will be independently observed on behalf of local residents by an external auditor. 100 pairs of complimentary concert tickets will be offered in each draw.
Local residents will be contacted by post by June 26 if their names have been drawn out for Coldplay tickets & by July 3 if their names have been drawn out for U2 tickets. Full details on the stadium’s community ticket scheme
