Community Fund

Croke Park is a proud supporter of our local community and at the heart of this support is the Croke Park Community Fund. Established in 2009, it’s an annual fund of €100,000 which is used to support projects in the immediate area around the stadium.

To date, the fund has allocated over €675,000 to local community groups and 53 local groups successfully applied to the fund in 2015.  There are four rounds of funding scheduled for 2016.

Croke Park Mosaic

2015 saw the unveiling of a special mosaic which was created by the pupils of St. Columba’s National School, North Strand. Entitled “Conas a fuair Cú Chulainn a ainm” (How Cú Chulainn got his name), it’s the culmination of nearly two years work by the local primary school children. Supported by Croke Park through its local community fund, the mosaic is hanging in the inner Cusack Stand concourse and will be viewed by many thousands of visitors making their way into the stadium each year.
