Reach new heights of Zen

Outdoor Yoga Experience on Croke Park’s Ericsson Skyline

Exercise highs don’t come much better than stretching out for your morning Yoga class while breathing in 360° panoramic views of Dublin City, Dublin Bay and the iconic Croke Park.

We are excited to announce the launch of limited edition outdoor yoga classes on the Ericsson Skyline, starting on Saturday 13th May.  At 17 storeys above the city, the Skyline is Croke Park’s rooftop walkway and Dublin’s highest open viewing platform, and will now be one of Ireland’s highest outdoor yoga experiences. The Skyline has an overhang right over the famous pitch, so it’s definitely one for thrill seekers looking for an alternative Yoga experience.

The classes, which will run every Saturday at 10am for 4 weeks commencing on the 13th May, will be with instructor Aisling Conn from Aisling Conn Yoga and Pilates. Aisling has been practicing yoga for close to 20 years and is a qualified Yoga and Pilates teacher since 2010. Her approach to yoga is inspired by the styles of Iyengar and Ashtanga Yoga.

Aisling’s sky-high sessions will be intimate, with no more than 15 participants, and will last approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.  They are suitable for all levels and promise to leave you feeling centred and revitalised…although we’re not sure about grounded!

Included in the price is a fresh healthy juice after your class in the GAA Museum’s Blackthorn Café.  Mats will be provided or you can bring your own.  The classes are strictly over 18s.

Commenting on the quirky decision to host Yoga on the Ericsson Skyline, Niamh McCoy, Director of the GAA Museum, said “Here at the home of Gaelic Games we are all about reaching new heights, promoting positive physical and mental wellbeing and creating unforgettable experiences for our visitors, so Yoga on the Ericsson Skyline was a natural fit.”

When not playing host to the 'Downward Facing Dog', 'Lotus' or 'Crane' poses, the Ericsson Skyline hosts exciting alternative guided tours of Dublin city, giving insights into Dublin’s celebrated landmarks and history from this unique height over the city. For out more about the Ericsson Skyline Tour here.

The Ericsson Skyline Yoga classes cost €25 euro per session, including a juice afterwards. As there are limited places, you must book in advance.  So get up off your Asana (seat posture) and book today.
