The GAA Museum Recognised as a Great Place to Work
To achieve the certification, the GAA Museum went through an employee survey to discover staff sentiment across a number of areas including wellbeing and growth. The survey gave everyone on the team a chance to share their opinions.
Speaking after receiving the award, GAA Museum director Niamh McCoy said:
“We really value this award as it speaks to the core values of our business. We want to create a welcoming, inclusive and fun environment for everyone – not just our visitors. It’s so important that our staff enjoy coming to work and feel their opinions are valued. Everyone on our team works so hard behind the scenes and in customer-facing roles and this is a great boost for us. We want our team to be proud to work here and to act as ambassadors for what we do.”
To build on the Great Place to Work success the team at the museum are busy planning for the tourist season ahead with lots of exciting initiatives and events coming up. These include
Teidà Tours this Easter as well as the brand-new
Writers from the Rooftop Tours on the Kellogg’s Skyline walkway and the exclusive Pitch Perfect Tours where visitors will learn how the Croke Park team manage the famous field.
