Swedish Royalty visit Croke Park

Croke Park were delighted to host King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden during their visit to Ireland.

On the pitch they were treated to an exhibition of our national games by members of the team who work at Croke Park, as well the Fun & Run team from the CRC School in Clontarf. Queen Silvia even tried her hand at hurling!

They visited the GAA Museum to discover the history of Gaelic games and located the Stockholm Gaels crest on the GAA Club Wall.
