Sky's the limit for Ericsson Skyline partnership
Ericsson new title sponsor of Skyline Tour at Croke Park.
Ericsson has been announced as the new title sponsor of Croke Park’s famous Skyline Tour, in a deal that also sees them being appointed as the GAA’s Official Technology Partner.
The Ericsson Skyline Tour is Dublin’s highest open viewing platform and offers visitors breath-taking panoramic city views and insights into Dublin’s celebrated landmarks from 17 storeys high, combined with the thrill of walking on top of the iconic Croke Park.
Niamh McCoy, Director of the GAA Museum said: “We are really excited to partner with Ericsson as new title sponsors. The Ericsson Skyline Tour marks another exciting development in the growth of our visitor attractions at Croke Park.”
John Griffin, Managing Director of Ericsson Ireland, said “Croke Park holds a special place in the hearts of minds of Irish people everywhere and in the year when we celebrate 60 years of Ericsson’s presence in Ireland we are really proud of this partnership with the GAA and Croke Park.”
The Ericsson Skyline Tour is one of the most popular attractions in Ireland and has recently been awarded the 2017 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, which honours tourism businesses that have consistently received strong praise and ratings from travelers, making it a must for overseas visitors and Irish people alike.
Dynamic tour-guides showcase Dublin’s history in a unique setting, and tell the story of the capital, with the famous stands of Croke Park providing the narrative framework.
The Ericsson Skyline Tour also includes free entry to the GAA Museum, which vividly illustrates the story of Gaelic Games from ancient times to the present day. Featured exhibitions include the original Sam Maguire and Liam McCarthy Cups, the official GAA Hall of Fame and the Interactive Games Zone where everyone can test their hurling and football skills.
