Pittsburgh Steelers Watch Party Returns

Following a memorable sold-out fan Watch Party in November 2023 the Pittsburgh Steelers are pleased to announce a return to the island of Ireland for a much-anticipated sequel event.

The team’s second ever Fáilte Steelers Watch Party, presented by Ticketmaster, will once again take place in Dublin’s iconic Croke Park on Sunday, September 29th for their game against the Indianapolis Colts from 4 p.m with kick-off at 6 p.m.

Last year’s party sold out in less than 24 hours and space is limited so fans are advised to act quickly to secure their spot. The game will be hosted in the Hogan Stand Suite and will include coverage on multiple screens, analysis, entertainment and hospitality in a very special atmosphere complete with Steelers game day traditions. Steelers alumni will be in attendance and a special pop-up shop will also be open on the night so fans can purchase officially licensed team merchandise.

Tickets will go on sale via Ticketmaster on Wednesday, August 28 at 3 p.m. See https://crokepark.ie/steelers for more information.

“We’re very much looking forward to hosting our second Watch Party in Ireland,” said Dan Rooney, Steelers Director Business Development & Strategy. “Steelers Watch Parties give fans a chance to cheer on the team together and sample some of the game day rituals that have become traditions in Pittsburgh. Our inaugural event in 2023 was very well received and we’re looking forward to welcoming Steelers fans from across the island for another great event at Croke Park.”

Croke Park Stadium Director Peter McKenna said: "We are delighted to welcome back the Pittsburgh Steelers and their team to Croke Park for a second ever Watch Party in Ireland.
“Last year’s event was a huge success, and we are confident that this year’s event will be another occasion to remember."

The fan Watch Party is the latest activity by the Steelers in the Irish market, having been granted the rights to expand their brand and activities for the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland as part of the NFL’s ‘Global Markets Program’.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have hosted several fan and football educational events, including a Kicking Clinic in April of this year and two American Football Youth Camps in Cork and Belfast this June. The team also announced their fourth-round pick in this year’s NFL draft live from Co Kerry and partnered with Virgin Media Television to air three of the team’s pre-season games live and free-to-air for Irish fans for the first time.
