Leinster SHC Final ticket initiative

Leinster GAA is proud to announce a major initiative to support and celebrate the next generation of GAA players, offering up to 20,000 free tickets for underage teams to attend the Leinster and Joe McDonagh Cup Finals at Croke Park, Sunday 8th June.

The initiative is part of Leinster GAA’s ongoing commitment to youth participation and community engagement, providing young players with the opportunity to experience the excitement and atmosphere of Senior Hurling Championship match days.

Speaking about the initiative, Cathaoirleach Comhairle Laighean Derek Kent said: “This is a celebration of our young players and an investment in the future of our games. We want every child involved in GAA to feel connected to the bigger picture — to see our players in action, feel the energy of championship days, and be inspired their Hurling heros. By offering 20,000 free tickets to our players, we’re not only giving them a great day out — we’re showing them they belong to something special.”

Eligible groups must consist of a minimum of 10 children (U14 or younger), and must be accompanied by at least two supervising adults per group (1 adult per 10 children).

Applications must be submitted by Club Secretaries no later than 12pm on Wednesday June 4. All tickets must be booked in advance and are non-transferable.

Leinster GAA encourages all GAA Teams to apply early to avoid disappointment. This initiative is expected to generate significant interest and is subject to availability.

1. Eligibility

• Offer applies to GAA Club Teams with players aged U14 and below.
• A minimum of 10 children is required per group application.
• Each group must include at least 2 adults, with a minimum supervision ratio of 1 adult per 10 children.

• Applications must be submitted through the Club or County Secretary.
• Only complete applications submitted by 12pm on Wednesday, 4th June 2025 will be considered.
• Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.

• A maximum of 20,000 kids tickets are available and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
• All children’s tickets are free of charge.
• All accompanying adult tickets are €40.00 each.
• All tickets are valid for access to the Davin or Cusack Stand only.
• Tickets are non-transferable and must be used by the group that applied.

• Leinster GAA reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all applications.
• Leinster GAA is not responsible for any costs associated with travel or supervision.
• Misuse of tickets or failure to adhere to these terms may result in disqualification from this and future promotions.
