First Stadium in the World!

Croke Park is known to be a trailblazer when it comes to aspiring and achieving the highest levels of sustainability excellence in Ireland so a positive legacy can be left for future generations.

In 2012, Croke Park became the first stadium in Ireland and Britian to secure both ISO14001 and ISO 20121 standards.  

Now we’re proud to announce that Croke Park has successfully been re-certified to the international standards for Sustainability Event Management and Health and Safety Management and become the very first stadium in the world to obtain certification to the newest International Environmental Standard ISO 14001:2015. An amazing achievement!

In the coming months, Croke Park will be “CHANGING THE GAME” when it comes to sustainability and you’ll be able to join us on our green mission every time you visit the stadium.
