Bord Gáis Energy Legends Tour with JJ Delaney

SOLD OUT.

Kilkenny’s great defender J.J. Delaney, winner of nine All Ireland senior medals and seven All Stars, will lead fans on a Legends Tour at GAA headquarters on the eve of the All-Ireland Hurling semi-final clash between Kilkenny and Waterford.

The Fenians clubman will host a Bord Gáis Energy Legends Tour of Croke Park on Saturday 6th August at 11.00, recalling moments from his illustrious 13-year career with the Cats.

J.J. Delaney first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of 17 when he first linked up with the Kilkenny minor team, before later joining the under-21 side.  He made his senior debut in 2001 and immediately became a regular on the Kilkenny team.  In addition to nine All-Irelands, he won 11 Leinster medals and eight National Leagues.

In 2003 he won the first of seven All-Star awards, while he also made a clean sweep of the top individual awards, winning the GPA Hurler of the Year and the Texaco Hurler of the Year awards.

The Legends Tours offer fans a special opportunity to take a tour of Croke Park and hear, at first-hand, unique insights and anecdotes from players about the match day experience.

Tickets for the Bord Gáis Energy Legends Tour with J.J. Delaney can be purchased on-line. Advanced booking is advised.
