Safe Events

We are looking forward to getting back to events and welcoming clients, visitors, and friends back to the venue when the time is right. We have reimagined our meeting and event experiences with health and safety to the fore.

Our event and operations teams have been working on our Safe Events Policy, in line with Government guidelines, to offer you and your guests' peace of mind while attending events at Croke Park.

Arrival and Movement

  • Access management procedures will be in place throughout the building and your event manager will advise on access protocols for your event.
  • Visitors must comply with the necessary safety measures and maintain the recommended social distance from other guests.
  • A people movement strategy and one-way system will be in place for each event to allow for physical distancing.
  • Escalators will be used and lifts will be available to those who need them with capacity limitations in place.
  • Face covering must be worn at all times when moving around the venue.

Social Distancing

  • All events space capacities are in line with Irish Government guidelines for social distancing.
  • Guideline social distancing must be maintained at all times.
  • All access, movement, capacity and food service plans are based on current regulatory guidelines.
  • Guests are encouraged to use all available space provided to encourage delegates to spread out during breaks and lunches.

Virtual Events

  • A range of virtual event options are available for live or on demand streaming and broadcasting including multiple streaming spaces and a specially designed virtual studio.
  • Hybrid events enable you to bring delegates together in person while extending your event reach to audiences outside the venue.
  • Our event spaces have all been reimagined for hybrid allowing up to 2m delegate distancing.

Health & Hygiene

  • Enhanced cleaning schedule implemented throughout the venue.
  • Plexiglas screens installed at all reception and registration desks.
  • Mask wearing mandatory for all staff, caterers and in-house AV support teams.
  • Hand sanitization units installed at all entrances and exits and key touch points throughout the building.
  • Air handling increased in all areas of the venue.
  • Our kitchens operate to the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness and the venue has been issued with the SGS Covid-19 Health & Safety Disinfection Monitoring and Approval Mark.
  • Smoking and vaping is prohibited in the stadium or on stadium grounds.

Food & Beverage

  • We continue to deliver the highest quality catering with creative menu offerings and new service styles for our reimagined event experiences.
  • Attendee comfort and peace of mind is guaranteed with additional hospitality spaces to allow guests to socially distance during breaks.
  • All cutlery, condiments and confectionery will be individually wrapped where possible.
  • Water glasses will be located at water stations in the foyer instead of in the conference room. We recommend guests use reusable bottles.

Record Keeping

  • We recommend that event organisers, delegates and suppliers download the Covid 19 Tracker App prior to arrival at the stadium to help in protecting each other and slowing the spread of COVID-19.
  • Event organisers must record all attendees for contact tracing purposes.
  • Emergency plans will be enabled should a case of COVID-19 be suspected.
  • The safety and welfare of clients, patrons, staff and their families is of paramount importance to us and remains our main priority.

Work Together With Confidence

To ensure all attendees feel safe, comfortable and confident while attending events at Croke Park, we encourage event organisers to share our Event Safety Policy with their attendees and suppliers in advance.
