Star Wars Open Casting at Croke Park

A Star Wars casting call is scheduled to take place on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 from 11am – 3pm. Gates to the stadium will not open until 8am.

The open casting call for the new Star Wars film scheduled for this weekend (November 23 & 24) in Dublin is now confirmed to take place here in Croke Park Stadium.

 
Here is some important information to note:
  • The casting call is scheduled to take place on Saturday and Sunday from 11am – 3pm
  • Gates to the stadium will not open until 8am
  • Due to the expected extreme weather conditions, overnight camping/queuing will not be permitted
  • Anyone seeking to queue overnight will be turned away
  • Entry to the casting call will be from St. Joseph’s Avenue, off the Clonliffe Road
  • Descriptions of the characters the casting team are specifically looking for can be found at www.opencastingcall2013.com 
  • No other roles are being cast at this stage so please make sure you fit the basic criteria before making arrangements to attend the casting session (men aged 19-23 and women aged 17-18) 
  • Make sure to dress very warmly – you will be queuing outdoors and the temperatures are expected to be extremely cold over the weekend
  • Everyone attending is encouraged to use public transport options - Bus, Rail, DART and LUAS all bring you to within 15 minutes’ walk, or less, from the stadium. Find out more details
