Language Schools

The GAA Museum welcomes students who are learning English as a foreign language.

Croke Park Stadium in Dublin has been at the heart of Irish sporting life for over 100 years. It is the headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), Ireland’s largest sporting organisation.    A visit to Croke Park Stadium and the GAA Museum is a great way for your students to learn about Ireland’s unique national games and the fastest field games in the world - hurling and Gaelic football – in a fun and enjoyable way.

This modern stadium, steeped in history, ranks alongside Wembley Stadium (London), Camp Nou (Barcelona) and Santiago Bernabeu (Madrid) as one of the largest stadia in Europe.  As well as being home to Gaelic games, Croke Park has also hosted Six Nations Rugby, soccer internationals and concerts by world famous artists.

What's on Offer?

Language School Groups can avail of two options:

  • Croke Park Stadium Tour + GAA Museum (2 hour visit) - €9.00 per student

  • Stand Tour + GAA Museum (1 hour visit) - €6.50 per student

Our guided Stadium Tours offer an access-all-areas trip through the home of Irish sport. Your students will visit the team dressing rooms before walking pitchside via the players’ tunnel, taking a seat in the VIP area and then enjoying panoramic views from the top tier of the stand - 30 meters above the famous pitch.

Stand Tours offer a museum visit with an overview of Croke Park from the lower tier stand.

The GAA Museum has recently undergone a €2million renovation and vividly illustrates the history and development of Gaelic games from ancient times to the present day.  Your students can spend time here and test their own hurling and football skills in the interactive games zone!
